PLATFORM THINKING
Master of Science

VISION AND CHANGE

Vision & Change is a course that explores transformative innovation and personal change. Using strategic foresight and design inquiry, students will articulate visions of sustainable practices and develop tools for embodied experiences. BUSINESS DESIGN AND TRANSFORMATION LAB

The Lab provides a project-based learning experience to transform businesses and people. Students collaborate in teams, interacting with companies, conducting workshops, and integrating knowledge to design and lead impactful business and people transformations.

The current competitive environment demands rapid innovation, making Agile methodologies increasingly popular across various industries. Initially focused on development, Agile has evolved into a broader mindset that also has cultural implications. Merging this agile mindset with design-driven innovation helps navigate uncertainty and complexity. Studies show that design approaches can embrace ambiguity and foster innovation, particularly through iterative and experimental processes. The Design Sprint methodology is a notable example, rooted in Agile principles and focused on experimentation.

Platform Thinking GYM aims to support professionals in assessing platforms as a tool to foster innovation in their firms. In particular, it supports participants in identifying assets - may be data, know-how, relationships, or physical assets - that may actually be idle and be used to fuel an innovation project based on platform mechanisms.

Executive Program
The Executive Project Management Pathway aims to develop and strengthen the skills you need to manage a variety of projects: radical, incremental, industrial, organizational, traditional, and agile.
Given the volume of initiatives, the pathway will provide you with the three macro-skills that underpin the project management model: technical planning and control skills, managerial and organizational skills, and behavioral skills.

The Pathway first focuses on three core competencies for those who intend to promote and lead a creative approach to innovation management:
- Design Thinking, i.e., the ability to enhance the analytical and creative dimension of the different phases of the design of a new product/service: from needs analysis to the identification of technological opportunities, through architectural design and market launch.
- Experience Design and Service, that is, the ability to design experiences that are not only functional, but also enjoyable and meaningful for people using innovative products and services.
- Design Sprint, i.e., the ability to accelerate design processes through the adoption of innovative experimental attitudes aimed at continuous dialogue with the recipients of innovation.
