The FUTURES | Sense Making by System Thinking Observatory has been founded in 2023 with the aim of experimenting and promoting innovative approaches in designing Futures. In highly volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous contexts existing in modern society leaders, innovators, and organizations are required to design desirable futures responsibly and proactively, as opposed to adapting and reacting to emerging futures after they have been defined.

The Digital Innovation in Retail Observatory conducts longitudinal research at the frontier of retail format innovation. It consists of 3 souls: a technological one, oriented to understanding how new technologies impact the customer experience. A marketing one, studying the evolution of what customers live in the store. And an Innovation one focused on understanding why customers will enter a store in the future and the new enabling retail formats.
